Dashcam Critical Issue
A critical issue is likely causing connectivity issues one or more of your TrakView Dashcams.
As of Friday, October 4th, we have mailed bug-fix packages containing SD cards to affected customers. Please check ASAP for a small manila envelope sent to the mailing address associated with your Force Fleet Tracking account. The mailer came from Lancaster, PA, and the bulk mailing company return label is from EBS [Everything But Stromboli]. If you have not received these SD cards, please contact us immediately.
How to complete the update
Upon receiving the memory card(s), we need you to:
- Remove the original 256 GB micro SD card from your dashcam (save for later)
- Insert the new 32 GB card, and power on the device (turn on the ignition)
- The dashcam will automatically update to Version 111 (this takes a few minutes)
- Once the update is complete, you can re-insert the original 256 GB micro SD memory card
Your dashcam(s) should now return to normal functionality.
